| First of all this song and title “Lady of Light” was inspired by Princess Diana, hence the lyrics “with love our queen of hearts”. It goes on to say how Princess Diana was a beacon of light and also a lady of beauty. The song also acknowledges how she gave to the poor and old alike with true compassion. Next the line “Lady of Light lifting us higher, a star in the sky she’ll never die. Perhaps the last line is the most important one when it goes on to say “Your life was not in vain, your spirit will remain” and so farewell to the “Lady of Light” who shall remain in our hearts forever more. | ||
